Amity University Bengaluru and LTTS Sign Strategic MoU - Establish E-Mobility Centre of Excellence
To strengthen the industry-academia collaboration, Amity University Bengaluru and L&T Technology Services (LTTS) have taken a major step by signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), promoting advanced research and enhancing skill development in emerging technologies. When technology and innovation are its peak, this collaboration fosters classroom learning with real-world industry requirements. The objective is to provide hands-on-exposure to emerging technologies, mainly in electronic mobility, automation, and data-driven engineering.
The E-Mobility Center of Excellence will serve as a collaborative platform where students, researchers, and industry experts can work together, emphasizing electric mobility, industrial sensing, control systems, building automation, and data analytics. The L&T will work as the knowledge partner, bridging the gap between academia and industry expertise.
Both institutes will work together on cooperative research projects, faculty and student exchanges, industry expert guest lectures, internships, technical workshops, innovation initiatives, and involvement in LTTS's flagship programs like TECHgium® as part of the Memorandum of Understanding. Additionally, the initiative helps learners to acquire technical skills and a problem-solving attitude that employers are increasingly seeking in today’s competitive engineering sector.
Prof. (Dr.) D. Subhakar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Amity University Bengaluru, and Dr. Guruprasad A. S., Global Practice Head, LTTS, signed the formal MoU.
