If you are someone seeking to secure a postgraduate seat at Delhi University, you need to wait a bit longer. As per the latest notification, Delhi University has revised the schedule for the Postgraduate (PG) Spot Admission Round 1 under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG) for the 2026-27 academic session.
As per the notification shared by the university, the revised timeline introduces changes to the admission process, seat allocation, document verification, and fee payment. Students who are participating in the DU PG Spot Admission 2026 must check the official notification carefully and follow the updated schedule to avoid missing any crucial information.
After completion of regular counseling rounds, Delhi University conducts DU PG Spot Admission as an additional round to ensure the accommodation of vacant seats to their postgraduate programs.
Many seats remain vacant due to non-payment of admission fees, withdrawal of admission, cancellation of admission, and unfilled program vacancies. Thus, PG Spot Admission Rounds focus on the vacant seats only across different departments and colleges.
The objective behind revising the schedule is to ensure a smooth allocation process, accommodate vacant seats, and streamline the admission process after earlier counseling rounds.
Through the Delhi University official website, the university announces the PG admission Spot Round 1 for the academic session 2026-2027.
