Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started re-registration for the July 2026 session, focusing on all programs – open and distance learning, and online programs, except for semester-wise courses and certificate programmes.

Those who are already registered in the ODL or online programmes affiliated with IGNOU can apply for re-registration. The window is available from May 6 to June 30, 2026, for students who did not take the term-end examination or submit their assignments by the due date. IGNOU Re-Registration July 2026 Session – Application Process

Before applying for re-registration, do not forget to keep important documents and information, such as registered mobile number, email ID, user ID, Password, and bank details.

The process is smooth and user-centric; using IGNOU’s online portal, the candidates must follow a few steps to apply using their student login, which includes enrollment number, user ID, and password. Once they login to their account, they can be able to see their re-registration status for the July 2026 session.

The candidate should have a 10-digit enrollment number issued by IGNOU and have completed at least 1-year in their previously registered academic session.
