The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has taken a major step by introducing 2 specialized online certificate courses through the university’s Center for Digital Learning, Training & Resources (CDLTR). Following the growing demand for flexible and digitally accessible learning courses, the university brings together two very different but academically specialized areas: Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational Tools and Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad, Prof. J. Anuradha, formally launched both courses on July 15, 2026. By introducing these courses through a flexible online mode, the university aims to take its academic expertise beyond the traditional classroom and make specialized learning accessible to a wider audience.
The newly launched online certificate courses offered by UoH Center for Distance Learning, Training & Research focus on highly specific academic areas: Samsadhani-Praveshika: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational Tools and Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance.
Unlike general introductory programmes, the courses are supported by industry-oriented expertise beyond the classroom learning system.
This short-term online certificate course is designed for learners interested in understanding Sanskrit with the support of computational tools and digital methods. Course Objective:
